Tjeerd Bouma, Holland

Next to my two lovely daughters (image left) and wife (picture in wallet), blokarting is a great passion for me. Blokarting has enabled me to travel a lot with my dear friend Johan Das, during which trips we always meet so many nice friends at so many different places. These trips have resulted in participating in this Gobi trip, which is like a dream coming true! I really look forward to seeing the nature of the Gobi dessert.

I am not high level sportsman. Football and running are my favorite sports. Not sailing! And one day... I discovered Blokart...many thanks to a windsurfer friend.
I have immediately imagined to leave beach. And in late spring of 2006, I completed a Blokart expedition in the steppes of Mongolia’s Gobi Desert. It was a working trip. I go again in Mongolia this year for fun and to realize an original adventure expedition, traverse the provinces of Mongolia with only windpower and willpower, originate an adventure race combining the thrill of sports with social and environmental respect for the native, nomadic way of life.
I am really very happy to go with 11 blokarters from NZ, UK, Dutch, Spain and France!!!!

Two friends are coming with me to Mongolia: SONY HDV Z1 and his little sister, Sony HDV A1. 2 HD cameras: 1 for me and one who can be embedded in a Blokart.
